Denounce
"Bun a fyah" is a Rastafarian lingo which means to strongly denounce something. The literal translation for "bun a fyah "is "burn a fire". Hence, if one is strongly against something, one would "bun a fyah" on it.
Patois: Mi bun a fyah pan all a di child molester dem
English: I strongly denounce all of the child molesters
Babylon , Ball head , Blessed , Bobo dread ,
The Rastafarian language is actually much easier to learn than Jamaican Patois because it’s mostly a play on English words (e.g. “overstand” for “understand”,“downpress” for “oppress”,“ I-ditate” for “meditate” etc…) rather than being an entirely separate dialect as with Jamaican Patois.
