English: Yesterday I cooked fish for dinner.
To ask humbly
A phrase used to show desperation or to humbly ask for assistance. Literal translation is "I'm begging you".
Patois: Mi beg yuh elp mi cyarri in dem bag yah.
English: Can you please help me carry these bags in.
